what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
A creative way I would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus would be by turning sampling into an experience rather than just a giveaway. On campus, I’d love to organize themed events like “GRWM nights,” self-care study breaks during finals, or beauty and wellness pop-ups where students could try products in a social and interactive setting. Since I’m heavily involved in campus organizations and events, I think integrating sampling into existing social spaces makes engagement feel much more authentic and memorable.I’d also pair sampling with content creation opportunities by encouraging attendees to participate in TikTok trends, mini tutorials, or “first impressions” videos using the products. This creates both in-person engagement and organic social media visibility at the same time.Off campus, especially in NYC during the summer, I think lifestyle-oriented sampling would work really well. Ideas like beach-day kits, brunch events, outdoor wellness gatherings, or “what’s in my bag” style city content could make the products feel naturally integrated into everyday routines. I’d focus on creating moments that people genuinely want to share online rather than treating sampling as purely promotional.Overall, I think the most effective sampling efforts are the ones that build community, encourage interaction, and create authentic excitement around the brand.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I would engage my audience by creating content that feels interactive, trend-aware, and genuinely integrated into my everyday routine rather than overly promotional. I think ColourPop products work especially well for short-form content like GRWMs, tutorials, “trying new makeup” videos, trend recreations, and quick transformation-style content because the products are visually engaging and highly shareable.I’d also focus heavily on audience interaction by using polls, comments, tutorials based on follower requests, product comparisons, and trend participation to make the content feel more community-driven. Since ColourPop has such a strong Gen Z audience, I think it’s important to create content that feels fun, creative, and conversational while still showcasing product quality and versatility. On campus, I’d also love to incorporate products into events, giveaways, themed beauty nights, or getting-ready content with friends because I think peer-to-peer engagement is especially effective for beauty brands. Overall, my approach would center on authenticity, creativity, and building excitement around the products in a way that feels natural to both my audience and the platform.
