What social media platform do you find most effective for local marketing and why?
I find Instagram most effective for local marketing because it’s highly shareable, friends can easily send posts and Reels to each other, which helps content spread quickly within a community. When a local user engages with a Reel, it’s often shown to their followers who are mainly from the same area, allowing the content to grow organically through local networks, shares, and saves.

I would highlight a local business by telling a story that feels personal and authentic, showcasing the people behind the brand, the atmosphere, and what makes it unique through short-form, visually engaging content.
