Yes! A lot of times in Engineering there are classes which are way above my head. I have learned multiple times that sometimes you can't do everything by yourself. After not scoring too well on my first midterm, I knew I had to change my approach and started to reach out to people who were doing better than me in the class and tried their way of studying/learning. I also set up times to meet to help ground the information with someone who is more knowledgable. This helped me change my exam scores for the 2nd midterm and final, leading to me fully understanding the material and feeling proud of myself. What kept me going is my craving for success.

Even to this day I am constantly teaching myself new skills, from different fun activities to more professional skills which I can apply in different situations. My most recent self-taught skill is my video editing skills. To set up a framework of where I should start, I reached out to people who were already involved in the UGC space and asked for advice so I could learn from people with experience. While networking with different individuals I did my own research on how and where to start tapping into video editing and creating interesting videos. I'm learning more and more each day and strive to produce the best that I can manage.

As a Mechanical Engineering Student at Boston University, I frequently scroll through tiktok and instagram to either take a break from my work, or to figure out study tips and applications.
