What do you think most brands are doing wrong in regards to their content strategy?

Most brands try to appeal to a larger audience by being seen as “market friendly” where they compete against other similar brands for the same consumers. This strategy leads to many brands in the same category to feel bland or generic. This strategy also leads to an uncaring or neutral audience which isn’t loyal to one brand over the other. This is very apparent in the media industry where all these large brands seem to repeatedly spew the same information or try to grab the audience with attention getting headlines about a topic in which ultimately no one cares about because it doesn’t affect them in their day to day lives. This strategy is true of most brands no matter the industry they are in.

Do you have experience organizing events on campus? If no, would you like to?

Yes, but very minimal. I am currently apart of several organizations on my campus and I am in several leadership positions which has led to me being able to help set up fundraising events and campus engagement events, however these have largely been group efforts with many other members planning them out together.

In your opinion, which brand is crushing it on social media right now?

By far the best performing brand on social media right now is Slim Jim. The community engagement and the overall feeling of connectivity is really driving their social media success.
