While working at Jersey Mike’s, I once had a customer upset about a delayed order during a busy rush. Instead of reacting defensively, I listened carefully, apologized for the inconvenience, and quickly worked with the team to correct the mistake. By staying calm, communicating clearly, and showing that I valued their experience, I was able to turn the situation around—the customer left satisfied, and my manager later complimented how I handled it under pressure.
