To me, failure is when you give up on something without fully trying to reach other possibilities and believe in yourself. I currently do volunteer work for a NJ photographer and when I first began helping her I failed to properly set up her; booking system, filing system, and client management. It was the first time I had ever handled bookkeeping and I failed to double-check my work and make sure that all the information was correct. As I continue to work with her I do my own research and I have close communication with her on how she wants me to get things done. I am now able to handle all of her workflow and client management. I work with her clients and handle payments, and any concerns that they have. I have also moved toward promoting her photoshoots and getting her more clients. If I had given up on myself the first time that I failed I would have never gained the knowledge that I have now and the ability to press forward in situations when I mess up.
