How would you promote ThingsBook to a new audience and get them to download?
To promote ThingsBook, we will transform the "chore" of organization into a visually satisfying, high-energy digital lifestyle brand that targets specific high-passion niches like sneakerheads, plant parents, and minimalists. By leveraging the "Organization Porn" trend on TikTok and Reels, we’ll use ASMR style content and "before and after" transformations to show how easy it is to turn a cluttered physical space into a curated digital museum. Our strategy balances utility, which helps users find things in seconds with emotion, allowing them to "digitally archive" sentimental items so they can declutter their homes without losing the memories. Ultimately, we’ll drive downloads by gamifying the experience with collection challenges and shareable digital shelves, positioning ThingsBook not just as a database, but as the ultimate "flex" for anyone proud of what they own.

I am part of an all-girls run club on campus, a student-run catholic organization to help students connect with one another through religion and fellowship, and Hackdavis, a student-run organization that coordinates the biggest Hackathon event on campus.
