I would, first of all, create an infomercial or pamphlet, anything that briefly describes what the app is about. Bringing it to an area where a lot of students generally go to would be the fastest way to publicize it, so I would book a table and talk about it to those who are interested. I would also try to find which student organizations would most likely be interested in the app and advertise it there.
