Please share an experience where you managed a project from beginning to end.

One of the most rewarding experiences where I managed a project from beginning to end was during my time as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and as a middle school teacher. In my role as an SDR, I was responsible for managing relationships with multiple clients, each with unique needs and expectations. I initiated the project by thoroughly understanding the requirements of each client, conducting in-depth research to comprehend their industries, and identifying potential pain points that our products or services could address. This involved not only meeting with clients but also collaborating closely with cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure alignment and feasibility. Once the project parameters were defined, I developed a comprehensive plan outlining the steps required to meet the clients' expectations. This included setting clear objectives, establishing timelines, and allocating resources effectively. Communication played a crucial role, and I maintained open and transparent channels with both clients and internal teams to address any concerns or modifications that arose during the project lifecycle. As challenges inevitably emerged, I employed problem-solving skills gained from my experiences as a middle school teacher, where I managed a diverse group of 80 students daily. Adaptability and flexibility were key, as I navigated unforeseen obstacles and adjusted the project strategy to ensure its successful completion. In both roles, I emphasized the importance of collaboration and teamwork. Just as I fostered a sense of community in my classroom, I encouraged a collaborative spirit among the project team members and stakeholders. This created an environment where everyone felt valued and contributed to the overall success of the project.

Share a time you had to think creatively to solve a problem?

As a teacher, part of the job is coming up with creative solutions to solve different types of problems. If I had to give an example, one that comes to mind would be when a student has a different approach to learning, since you are not really giving a set of norms, normally I come out with different types of solutions to make the student more comfortable with learning something new.
