Interview Questions
Schaller Weber
Product Tester for Summer Sausage

How do you ensure your feedback is honest and constructive?
I ensure my feedback is constructive by using a 'Problem-Solution-Suggestion' framework. Instead of just saying a feature is 'bad,' I explain the specific friction it caused in my workflow as a student and suggest a tangible fix. I stay honest by balancing my reviews; I’ll highlight a major 'pro' but won't shy away from mentioning a 'con' that my peers would notice anyway. My goal is to build long-term trust with my community, so I treat every review as a transparent conversation rather than a scripted advertisement.

Have you ever written an online product review before?
Yes, I regularly write reviews that focus on utility and real-world performance. As a Computer Science student, I’ve reviewed productivity apps and tech gear by breaking down complex features into simple 'wins' for my peers. My approach is to highlight the 'Problem vs. Solution'—for example, how a specific tool saved me five hours of manual data entry or improved my study focus. I believe the best reviews aren't just a list of features, but a transparent story of how a product actually fits into a busy student's daily grind.
