Through tik tok, I created a video of my university's ceramic department accomplishing a Raku firing. Raku firing is a type of low-heat firing which creates very uniques finishes to pottery pieces. It was my first time participating and experiencing a Raku firing and wanted to share it through tik tok! Although it didn't go viral, my video did get over 1700 views :-)

The main thing I look for when purchasing from a new brand is if they are an ethical and sustainable brand. Its important for me to support and purchase from brands who want to give us the best products, not only in materials but also in production terms. I don't support brands who waste materials, follow fast fashion trends, and take advantage of their workers.
