Interview Questions
Deep Blue.
Content Creator for Sustainable Streetwear Brand

If you were hired, how would you approach building out a content plan for Deep Blue?
If I were hired, I would start by defining Deep Blue’s brand voice and goals, then research the target audience to understand what resonates with them. From there, I’d build a content calendar that balances educational, engaging, and storytelling posts while leaving room for timely trends. I’d also track performance data to refine the strategy over time, ensuring we grow both reach and authentic community engagement.

What do you think is more important for a brand: going viral or building consistent community engagement? Why?
I think building consistent community engagement is more important for a brand than going viral. While viral moments can bring quick attention, they usually fade just as fast and don’t always create lasting loyalty. On the other hand, consistent engagement builds trust and relationships with people over time. When a community feels connected to a brand, they are more likely to stay loyal, spread positive word-of-mouth, and continue supporting it even during challenges. Viral success is unpredictable, but steady engagement creates long-term growth and makes those rare viral moments even more effective.
