I always make sure to have a little note with me and a pen, to jot the tasks as not to forget, as the saying goes "The faintest pen is sharper the strongest memory".

Tell us about a time you helped something run more smoothly, or solved a problem on your own.
I was working at KFC, this period was a rush hour and there were lots of customers. My coworker almost had a dispute and there wasn't time to call the manager on duty, I provided an alternative meal package to the customer and tried my possible best to be friendly and smile in the tense situation. To cut the long story short the customer wax happy and anything they were back I was always asked for to attend to them.
