Tell us about your experience in sales, and why you want to work for our brand to help us grow!
Over the past year I've been working in the nightlife industry in Old Town Scottsdale, where I was responsible for selling table reservations, bottle packages, and bar crawl experiences. That role taught me real sales fundamentals β how to approach people confidently, communicate value quickly, handle objections, and follow up consistently to actually close. In an environment like nightlife, you're constantly selling to people who have plenty of other options, so you learn fast how to be persuasive without being pushy and how to build enough rapport in a short conversation to get a yes. What excites me about Couture specifically is that I'm essentially already embedded in the exact market you're selling to. As a college student at ASU and a member of one of the largest fraternities on campus, I know firsthand how important merch is to clubs, organizations, sororities, and frats β and I know the people making those purchasing decisions personally. That gives me a natural in that most sales reps don't have. I want to work for Couture because I can see myself genuinely being passionate about what I'm selling, and I think that passion combined with my sales background and campus connections is exactly what a growing brand needs to make noise on college campuses.

Describe a time you successfully followed up to close a sale.
The most significant time I have ever followed up to close a sale was while I was acting as social chair for my fraternity. Our goal was to have a social event sponsored by a large-scale alcohol company. To achieve this goal, I had to be in constant communication with brands to convince them to give product and money to a bunch of frat guys. As you can imagine, this was not easy; however, for a month straight I emailed, called, and spoke in person with countless representatives until i was able to find someone willing to bet on u.

How would you convince a client to choose our merch brand over competitors?
In order to convince clients to choose our merch over the competition, I would need to conduct individual research on the specific client in question. This would help better prepare me for what demands we need to specifically fill in order to represent the best option the consumer could choose.
