How have you used data to improve a property management process?
As a college student, I haven’t had the chance to work in property management yet. But I can imagine how data could help. If I were to manage a property, I’d start by gathering data on frequent issues, like how long repairs take. Then, I’d analyze this data to spot patterns—maybe certain repairs take too long. Using this insight, I’d make smart decisions, like scheduling regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns or finding more reliable vendors. This approach would save time and money, showing how data can streamline property management.
