Here is my first video! Please let me know if you’d like any edits — I’m more than happy to make adjustments. If this style isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, I can also create a brand-new version. I’d love to produce a few more videos as well; I have several ideas I’m excited to try, and I genuinely love the product! Please let me know what you think!

How would you talk about the App to encourage people on your campus to sign up? What would you say?

People have already shown interest in the app when I talk about the jobs I’ve done and how much I’ve been paid. When I show them the content and compensation, they usually ask right away what the app is called. I then walk them through how easy it is to apply for each gig and explain how likely it is to actually get booked. When I first joined, I was unsure and didn’t think I would get selected for any jobs. But after landing my first gig, everything changed. Since then, I’ve been able to work with some really cool companies, create a lot of content, and earn great money, which makes it even easier to genuinely recommend the app to others.

How would you most effectively share your unique link?

Since I’m a college student and a lot of people around me are actively looking for jobs, I would share the opportunity in all of the group chats I have access to, including my Alpha Chi Omega sorority group chat and the group chat for my entire dorm building. I would also send it to my high school friends’ group chat, where everyone now attends different schools across the country, such as University of California, Los Angeles, University of Southern California, University of Wisconsin–Madison, University of Colorado Boulder, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, University of California, Irvine, University of California, Davis, and University of California, San Diego. This would help spread the opportunity quickly to a large group of motivated students across multiple campuses.

Do you have experience collecting sign ups before? (Either for a club, organization, or another GIG) Tell us about it!

Yes, I have experience collecting sign-ups in both professional and club settings. I worked with the company Stardust, where I promoted the benefits of their premium app membership and directly encouraged users to upgrade. Through one on one conversations and explaining the value of the service, I was responsible for getting over five people to purchase a full year long membership. In addition, I helped recruit members for my club, Student Union for Peru, which focuses on raising money to support children by helping them attend school, participate in sports, and build better living conditions. This involved approaching students, clearly explaining the mission, and motivating them to get involved and support the cause.
