Describe a social media strategy you developed that increased engagement.
In one of my roles, I developed a strategy focused on making content feel more native and conversational rather than overly polished. I introduced content pillars centered around relatable storytelling, trend-driven videos, and UGC-style content, which aligned better with how audiences engage on TikTok and Instagram.
I also shifted the approach to prioritize strong hooks in the first few seconds, faster pacing, and captions that encouraged interaction. Alongside that, I stayed consistent with posting and actively engaged with comments to keep the conversation going.
As we iterated based on performance, engagement increased because the content felt more authentic and aligned with what the audience actually wanted to see. It really showed that leaning into relatability and platform trends can make a big difference in how people interact with a brand.

Can you describe a time you used data to improve your social content performance?
In one campaign, I noticed that some of our posts were getting significantly higher engagement and watch time than others, so I dug into the data to understand why. I found that videos with stronger hooks in the first 2–3 seconds and more relatable, story-driven formats were outperforming more polished, aesthetic content.
Based on that, I shifted the strategy to focus more on quick hooks, trend-based formats, and conversational storytelling. I also tested different caption styles and posting times to see what drove the most interaction.
As a result, we saw a noticeable increase in engagement and overall performance. It reinforced how important it is to let data guide creative decisions and continuously iterate based on what the audience is actually responding to.
