One of my most-engaged posts was when I shared how my mom was moving me into college instead of me having a nursery. I think it connected with people because it flipped the usual narrative—most people expect college move-in posts to be about excitement, not a bittersweet reminder of growing up without that traditional start. It was personal, unexpected, and easy for others to relate to or comment on, whether they’d had a similar experience or just felt touched by the story.
