I research the product and brand to understand what they are trying to promote before I try the product. After I have tried the product, I reflect on whether or not they upheld their brand "promises" and reflect on whether the product hit my criteria. I have high standards in what I am using and what I want to incorporate in my life, allowing me to truly think about how a certain product affects me.
