What is your favorite podcast?
My favorite podcast right now is Huberman Lab by Andrew Huberman.
I got into it about a year ago and it’s honestly changed how I think about daily habits — especially sleep, focus, and nutrition. The episodes are super detailed but explained in a way that’s easy to follow. I particularly loved the ones on dopamine, sugar cravings, and how certain foods affect your energy and mood.
A lot of times I listen to it while snacking or cooking. It’s funny because after an episode on blood sugar or ultra-processed foods, I actually become more conscious about what I’m eating in that moment. It’s not preachy — it’s science-backed and practical.
I also like The Diary of a CEO as a close second when I want more business and mindset stuff, but Huberman Lab is the one I keep coming back to consistently.

Can you describe a time when your feedback influenced a product or service?
Yes, one clear example happened last year with a food delivery app I used a lot (I won’t name it here, but it was one of the bigger ones).
I noticed their snack section was always messy — recommendations were terrible, portions were unclear, and they kept suggesting sweet snacks late at night even though I usually ordered savory ones. So I left detailed feedback in the app’s rating section and also replied to their follow-up email.
I specifically told them:
Group snacks better by “craving type” (salty/crunchy, sweet, healthy/light, indulgent) instead of just “snacks.”
Add a quick filter for “under 200 calories” or “high protein.”
Show actual portion sizes and macros more clearly.
About 6–7 weeks later, they rolled out a new “Crave Categories” feature in the snack tab, and the portion + nutrition info became much more visible. I immediately noticed the change and it made ordering snacks way faster and less regretful.
That felt good because it was a small thing, but it genuinely improved my experience and probably helped a lot of other users too.

What motivates you to participate in user interviews?
My main motivations for participating in user interviews are threefold:
First, I genuinely enjoy giving detailed feedback that can actually shape products. I’ve noticed how small changes in apps, food, or everyday tools make life noticeably better, so I like being part of that improvement loop. It feels productive.
Second, I’m curious about how companies and AI systems think. Participating lets me see what kind of questions they ask, what data they value, and how they’re trying to understand human behavior. It’s like getting a behind-the-scenes look at product development.
Third, honestly; the money is a bonus. $25 for 20 minutes is fair, especially when I can do it from home. But I only do these when I believe I can give honest, high-quality input. I don’t just rush through them for cash.
Overall, it’s a mix of wanting to help build better stuff, satisfying my own curiosity, and making a little side income with something that doesn’t feel like a waste of time.
