Who is your primary audience, and why do you think they would connect with piercing or aftercare content?
My primary audience would be people around my age, mainly Gen Z and young adults on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. I think they would connect with piercing and aftercare content because a lot of people are curious about getting pierced but may feel nervous about the process. Since it would be my first piercing (most likely my ears), I think that makes the content even more relatable. Someone who is thinking about getting their ears or body pierced for the first time could watch my video and see what the experience is actually like. Showing the process and talking about aftercare could help answer questions they might have and make them feel more comfortable about doing it themselves.

How would you film a ‘come with me to get pierced’ video to make it engaging and authentic for your audience?
I would film it in a simple, vlog style to keep it engaging and authentic. I would start by using my phone in selfie mode and saying something like, “Hey guys, today I’m going to get my ears pierced at [studio name], come with me.” Then I would record a few clips of myself driving there and talking about why I decided to do it. When I arrive, I would film myself walking into the studio and a quick clip of checking in. If allowed, I would record a short moment of the setup or right before the piercing. After it’s done, I would switch back to selfie mode to show the results and give my first reaction. This keeps the video natural and makes the audience feel like they’re experiencing the moment with me.
