If you were the marketing manager for Poparazzi, describe where you would focus the majority of your resources for a fall launch on your campus?
If I were the marketing manager for Poparazzi, I would focus the majority of my resources for a fall launch on student ambassadors. An app like Poparazzi, is clearly targeting a demographic of college students. Students at an arts and communications college like Emerson, are most active on the social media platforms: Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat. It would be a smart tactic to partner with various student ambassadors who have different reaches to influence their followers and circle.
You could make some ambassador kits, including simple pieces like a t-shirt, bottle opener, water bottle, etc. and arm them with materials to give away to their peers. This can work best if they get referral discounts themselves.

What is one creative concept that you think would resonate and excite students about Poparazzi?
In this day and age, especially notable after the COVID pandemic, young people have moved from perfect, photoshopped, HD pictures to photo dumps of things that matter to them. Now, the extraordinary is the ordinary. There is an aesthetic sensibility to capturing the ordinary. A platform where students can share these pictures without having the burden of being "Instagram perfect" is exciting, new, and most importantly... refreshing.
