Have you ever created content before? (No experience? No problem)
Yes, I’ve previously interned and helped generate social media content for SurveyMonkey, where I supported content creation and communication across multiple platforms.I’ve also worked with Brainly to create short study-focused videos designed to encourage students to use Brainly during high pressure times like midterms and finals instead of struggling through assignments alone.Through these experiences, I’ve become comfortable creating engaging talking head style videos and content that resonates with students online while helping drive awareness and usage of educational tools.

How do you analyze what’s working?
For instance on social media I focus on both the quantitative metrics and the qualitative audience response. On the metrics side, I look at things like watch time, completion rate, saves, shares, and comment activity, since those signals usually indicate that content resonated emotionally or provided value. For short-form videos especially, strong retention in the first few seconds and a high completion rate usually mean the hook and storytelling worked. I also pay attention to patterns across posts for example, which hooks, formats, or topics consistently perform better. If a specific style of video (like relatable storytelling or reflection prompts) gets more engagement, I’ll iterate on that format while testing small variations. Beyond metrics, I read comments and audience responses closely because they reveal what people actually connected with or related to. Combining data with audience feedback helps me refine future content so it feels more relevant, authentic, and engaging.

What pain points do you think would convert best right now?
The pain points that would convert best right now are the ones that feel deeply relatable to everyday mental experiences, especially for Gen Z and young professionals. One major pain point is overthinking and mental clutter. A lot of people struggle with racing thoughts, especially late at night, and are looking for simple ways to process their feelings. Content that frames SelfTalk as a tool to “get thoughts out of your head and onto the page” would resonate strongly. Another powerful pain point is negative self-talk and self-doubt. Many people are actively trying to build healthier inner dialogue, and positioning SelfTalk as a daily reflection tool that helps reframe thoughts could drive strong engagement. Finally, burnout and emotional overwhelm is a big one right now. People want quick, approachable ways to reset without committing to complicated routines. Showing how SelfTalk fits into a short daily reflection habit would make the product feel accessible and practical. Content that highlights these real emotional experiences — and then shows how journaling with SelfTalk can help would likely drive the strongest connection and conversion.
