do you have a reliable method of transportation to pick up cookies from a local Insomnia store? You must be able to transport a ping pong table and Swag to the party you crash. We will provide this for you, and the ping pong table is foldable and will fit in a regular-sized vehicle.
Yes, I live close to campus and also own a car so this would be no issue!

what's an example of a fun tiktok or insta post you'd make to highlight you crashing the event?
Imagine walking across campus late at night and suddenly hearing about free Insomnia Cookies, of course you have to check it out! The TikTok starts with a quick POV shot captioned “When someone says free cookies…” then cuts to clips of me and my sorority sisters hyping each other up and running to the event. There’s slow-motion cookie grabs, laughter, and close-ups of everyone enjoying their favorite flavors. The energy stays high with a trending upbeat sound, capturing the excitement of a late-night surprise on campus. The video ends with everyone holding up their cookies, smiling, and a final text overlay that reads: “Cookie Crashers was sweet #CookieCrashersUF.” It’s short, fun, and perfectly captures the spontaneous joy of crashing an event with friends.

How would you plan your "cookie crashers" event for your campus?
The “Cookie Crashers” event is designed to combine community engagement with a fun campus experience, using the universal appeal of cookies to raise awareness about food insecurity and highlight the mission of Hope Meals. As President of Hope Meals, I see this event as a way to connect students with our organization while also involving my sorority in a meaningful collaboration that strengthens campus ties. The event would be hosted in a central campus location during the evening, aligning with Insomnia Cookies’ late-night brand identity. Partnering with Insomnia Cookies, we would provide free cookies or discounted specials to attract students and encourage them to stop by. Alongside cookie distribution, Hope Meals and sorority members would host awareness stations where students could learn about food insecurity in Gainesville, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and donate directly through QR codes. To make the event engaging, we would include interactive elements such as a cookie decorating station with messages like “Hope is Sweet,” as well as trivia games about hunger and nutrition where students can win additional cookies. Social media would play a central role, with the hashtag #CookieCrashersUF encouraging attendees to post their photos, tag Hope Meals and the sorority, and spread awareness beyond the event itself. Promotion would take place through tabling, flyers, and joint posts from Hope Meals and sorority accounts leading up to the event. Afterward, we would share impact statistics such as the number of cookies distributed, donations raised, and new volunteers recruited. Cookie Crashers will not only be a fun campus tradition but also a powerful opportunity to unite students, local businesses, and organizations in the fight against food insecurity in the Gainesville community.
