How would you engage audiences for art?
I would:
Use platforms like Instagram and TikTok to share behind-the-scenes looks, artist interviews, and time-lapse videos of the creative process.
Create eye-catching posts using tools like Canva (which I’ve used before) to highlight the artwork and event details.
Encourage interaction by asking followers to comment, vote on their favorite pieces, or share their own art inspired by the exhibition.
Collaborate with influencers or student creators to spread the word and reach new audiences.
Post regularly and at the best times to keep the audience engaged and build excitement.

Can you provide an example of a successful social media campaign you've managed in the past?
I helped manage a social media campaign for the Everybody Can Dance (ECD) 2024 event at President University. My role was to promote the event using digital platforms like Instagram and student media channels.
I created promotional materials using Canva , scheduled posts ahead of the event, and worked with influencers to increase visibility. We also used short video teasers and regular updates to build excitement.
As a result, we saw increased engagement from students, more sign-ups, and strong attendance on the event day. This experience taught me how to plan content, track engagement, and adjust strategies based on what resonates with the audience.

How do you stay updated with the latest social media trends and algorithm changes?
I stay updated with social media trends by actively using platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn, following digital marketing blogs, and learning from student-led projects. In my role as Public Relations Officer for the Dance Club and French Club, I created content, scheduled posts, and tracked engagement, which helped me understand what works best. I also experiment with different styles of posts to see how they perform, so I can keep up with changes in algorithms and audience behavior.
