Share a few of the most impactful traditions as it relates to March Madness on your campus?

As a first-year student, I’m still learning about the traditions on campus, so I’m not entirely sure what to expect just yet. However, as March approaches and the excitement of March Madness builds, I’m confident that some impactful traditions will emerge, and I look forward to experiencing them firsthand.

What groups, organizations, or communities do you lead or play a significant role in?

As a Multimedia Communication major, I am actively involved in several organizations within my field. I am a graphic designer and writer for The Wood Word, an exclusively online news source serving the Marywood University community. Additionally, I serve as a graphic designer for TV Marywood, the department’s news broadcasting organization. I am also a DJ for 91.7 VMFM, Marywood’s radio station.

Outside of these organizations, I work as a Marketing Associate through the university’s Work-Study program. In this role, I create promotional materials, manage social media accounts, and assist in implementing marketing strategies to support various campus events and initiatives.

If Uber were to host an activation on campus during March Madness, what would be your best idea for the brand to uniquely engage students?

If Uber were to host an activation on campus during March Madness, my idea would focus on combining the excitement of the games with Uber’s convenience. I’d suggest creating a pop-up where students could watch live March Madness games in a fun, interactive setting. This space could feature exclusive promotions, such as encouraging students to wear their team gear and offering prizes like Uber credits or branded apparel for the best-dressed fans, an interactive photo booth, and more!
