Idea Citizen Profile Image

How would you use these conversation cards and what would you look for to know they’re working?

I would use conversation cards to encourage meaningful discussions and help people feel more comfortable connecting in group or social settings. To know they’re effective, I would look for increased engagement, more natural conversations, and positive feedback from participants about how the cards improved interaction and inclusivity.

How do you ensure your feedback is detailed and useful?

I ensure my feedback is detailed and useful by focusing on both the overall user experience and specific details. When testing a product, I pay attention to functionality, ease of use, design, and any issues or inconsistencies I notice. I like to approach feedback from the perspective of the intended user and consider how the product performs in real-world situations. I also try to be specific rather than general by providing clear examples of what worked well, what could be improved, and why. Instead of simply saying I liked or disliked something, I explain how certain features impacted usability or effectiveness. My experience in research and leadership roles has strengthened my ability to observe carefully, communicate clearly, and provide constructive feedback that can help improve outcomes.

What attracts you to product testing?

I’m attracted to product testing because it combines problem-solving, communication, and innovation. I enjoy analyzing how people interact with products and identifying ways to improve the user experience. Product testing also allows me to provide meaningful feedback that can directly influence the quality and effectiveness of a product before it reaches consumers. I’m especially interested in the opportunity to evaluate products from both a consumer and analytical perspective. I pay close attention to detail, enjoy trying new products, and like understanding what makes a product successful in terms of usability, functionality, and overall experience. I also appreciate that product testing requires clear communication and collaboration, which are skills I’ve strengthened through my leadership, research, and volunteer experiences.
