please share relevant graphic design examples and/or your portfolio

I’ve created a range of graphic design work across digital and print that reflects both creativity and strategy. My experience includes designing branded social media graphics, event promotions, email marketing visuals, presentation decks, and flyers for campus organizations and athletics-related initiatives. I focus heavily on clean typography, strong visual hierarchy, and brand consistency so that each piece not only looks polished but communicates clearly. I’ve used tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite to develop campaign-style content, promotional materials, and email headers optimized for mobile engagement. While I don’t currently have a public portfolio link attached here, I’ve compiled organized samples that showcase social campaigns, email designs, and branded assets, and I’d be happy to share a curated PDF or walkthrough of my work that highlights both the creative execution and the strategy behind each project.

tell us about your prior experience in graphic design + email marketing

I have experience in both graphic design and email marketing through a mix of academic projects, athletics involvement, and content creation roles. In graphic design, I’ve created branded social media graphics, promotional materials, and digital assets using tools like Canva and Adobe platforms. I focus heavily on visual hierarchy, clean typography, and staying aligned with brand guidelines so that every piece feels cohesive and intentional. Whether it’s designing graphics for campus organizations, athletics-related promotions, or campaign-style content, I prioritize clarity and making sure the design supports the message rather than overpowering it.With email marketing, I’ve worked on structuring campaigns that are both visually engaging and conversion-focused. I understand the importance of subject lines, preview text, segmentation, and clear CTAs. I think about the full user journey — from when someone opens the email to what action they’re being guided to take. I pay attention to layout, spacing, and mobile optimization because most users are viewing emails on their phones. I also analyze performance metrics like open rates and click-through rates to refine future campaigns and improve engagement.Overall, my experience has taught me that strong design and effective email marketing both come down to intentional storytelling, consistency, and understanding your audience. I approach both creatively, but always with strategy in mind.

How do you stay creative when creating content regularly?

I stay creative by building systems around creativity instead of waiting for inspiration to hit.First, I separate idea generation from execution. I keep a running “idea bank” in my notes where I drop hooks, trends, questions, pain points, and content angles whenever they come to mind. That way, when it’s time to create, I’m not starting from zero — I’m refining.Second, I study what’s working. I regularly analyze high-performing content in my niche and on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. I don’t copy — I reverse-engineer. I look at:What was the hook? What emotion did it trigger? What format did they use?Why did someone stop scrolling?Third, I rotate formats to avoid burnout. If I’ve been doing educational talking-head videos, I might switch to storytelling, carousel posts, trend-based content, or behind-the-scenes clips. Changing format often sparks new angles.I also build from constraints. Giving myself a specific goal — like “3 hooks about one topic” or “explain this in 20 seconds” — actually forces sharper creativity. And finally, I prioritize real-life input. Conversations, questions people ask me, experiences I’m having — those are endless content sources. The more present I am offline, the better my content is online. For me, creativity isn’t random. It’s observation, structure, iteration, and staying curious.
