Share an experience that highlights your ability to build strong relationships.
Working in the restaurant industry for three years taught me the importance of building genuine relationships. One memorable experience was when a regular guest, who often dined alone, shared how much she appreciated the personalized service I provided. I made an effort to remember her favorite dishes and small details about her day, which helped create a welcoming environment. Eventually, she began bringing friends and even recommended the restaurant to others. This experience reinforced my ability to connect with people, build trust, and create meaningful interactions. Skills that translate well into sales, account management, and customer engagement roles.
