I’m not a professional musician by any means, but I did take music lessons as a kid where I learned music theory and got to try out a few instruments. I am not very skilled at it but having that background gave me a whole new appreciation for music. When I listen to songs now, I really think about the craftsmanship behind them, which makes the experience more meaningful to me.

During the development of a project management web app, the main dashboard was crowded with too many options and widgets, even though the product was powerful, it left many users feeling confused and overwhelmed, so I suggested adopting a default interface that highlights only essential features while other advanced and additional features be moved to an "Advanced Tools" section that was easily accessible but not intrusive. This also allowed us to introduce customizable dashboards that allows users to choose what features/tools they want visible.
