Interview Questions
JOVA
Business Development Intern (Health Food Startup)

How do you usually keep track of tasks, follow-ups, or deadlines when things are moving fast?
I keep track of my tasks through Google Calendar. I keep everything color-coded (e.g., classes, appointments, and assignments). Whenever things are moving fast, I am always able to rely on my calendar to keep me on track with my tasks.

Tell us about a time you helped something run more smoothly, or solved a problem on your own.
At the University of Georgia, I am part of the Asian American Student Association E-Board. During our Lunar New Year Festival, the decorations committee was running behind. To help this situation run more smoothly, I dedicated more of my time to helping the committee. Moreover, I constantly promoted this opportunity to our general body members to volunteer and gain leadership experience in AASA by attending the decoration meetings. By doing so, more members showed up to help make decor, which helped our event run more smoothly.

What excites you about this role and working with JOVA?
As an undergraduate student, I have had limited hands-on opportunities working with businesses. JOVA provides this opportunity, and I am incredibly excited for the chance to learn new things and to be part of a different experience. Moreover, I am incredibly inclined to help this company grow in any way I can. Additionally, I love organizing, and I believe this role is the perfect opportunity to utilize my skills.
