I would test every aspect of what I am testing and follow all of the rules of the guidelines.

How do you approach identifying and reporting bugs during testing?
I immediately go whoever is running the program. If there is a slightest chance their could be a bug I would let someone know immediately. I would rather there be nothing wrong than have something be wrong and not report it.
