On a campus like The University of Michigan with endless amounts of school spirit stemming from athletics, Peacock has the potential to completely revolutionize the way students view their school’s sports. Not every student goes to all of the sporting events, even the more popular games like football and men’s basketball. With the recent deal between the Big Ten and NBC that starts next year, all of the students who would rather watch the televised versions of the game can easily and efficiently view them on Peacock. I am a girl who loves football and sports. Even more, I want other students on campus to have the same love for sports as I do, so I cannot wait to get people extremely excited to watch football games even when they are not in the Big House. If marketed the right way with an ambassador like me, Peacock will be a critical part of the memory students have of their relationship with Michigan sports during their undergraduate career.
