I enjoy tabling for various initiatives on campus and creating engaging videos tailored to the user experience with the app. Students at Berkeley love the ease of use of streamlined platforms, so showing students through videos and in-person events the inner workings of the app could be very effective in getting the word out about hostU.

WHY ARE YOU INTERESTED IN HOSTU?
I am a Berkeley student who has consistently struggled to find safe, affordable, and honest listings for subletting or subletting my room. With such a massive housing crisis, hostU seems like a promising solution to streamline the market and enable international students and those with exceptional circumstances to find safe and equitable housing. As a person who has experienced unsafe housing situations from a sublet gone wrong, knowing I can trust the person I am subletting from is a huge advantage and can overall increase my experience as a student at this university and my capacity to attend school and take advantage of my degree.
