How do you approach creating authentic user-generated content?

I approach authentic user generated content by starting with one question: would I actually stop and watch this? UGC only works when it feels real, not scripted. So I focus on natural lighting, real reactions, and conversational language that sounds like something you would text a friend. No over produced energy. Just honest experience. I also lead with the hook. The first three seconds have to feel relatable. Think ā€œI was not expecting this to taste so goodā€ or ā€œWhy is no one talking about this snack?ā€ Most importantly, I center the creator, not the brand. The product should fit seamlessly into their routine so it feels discovered, not pushed. When the content feels like a genuine recommendation instead of an ad, that is when it converts.
