Interview Questions
SOMOS Foods
Influencer Marketing Intern

How would you find & reach out to influencers to get their shipping address?
To find influencers, I’d start by using a mix of tools and manual research. Platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube are great for identifying creators who align with SOMOS’s values—especially those in the food, lifestyle, or parent spaces. I’d also use tools like Tagger, Aspire, or even Instagram’s search and hashtag filters to find micro and macro influencers who already post about Mexican food, pantry staples, or easy family meals. Once I’ve identified a good fit, I’d check their bio or Linktree for a management contact or business email. If they don’t list one, I’d send a professional DM that’s short, friendly, and explains who I’m reaching out on behalf of, why I think they’d love SOMOS, and ask if they’d be open to receiving a gift package. If they’re interested, I’d request the best shipping address and any preferences or allergies they might have. From there, I’d keep everything organized in a tracker with names, handles, email/contact info, mailing addresses, engagement rates, and content focus to make sure everything runs smoothly on the seeding and follow-up side.

Social Media Intern

how comfortable are you behind/in front of a camera and creating content?
I’m very comfortable both behind and in front of the camera. As a graphic design major and social media intern, I’ve had a lot of experience filming, editing, and directing content—whether it’s shooting for Instagram Reels, TikToks, or behind-the-scenes sports content. I’ve also stepped in front of the camera when needed, whether to introduce content, participate in trends, or give a more personal and relatable touch to the brand’s voice. I’m used to working fast, adapting to trends, and making content feel authentic rather than overly polished. I also know how to work a tripod, mic, and lighting for quality production, which helps whether I’m filming myself or someone else. Overall, I really enjoy the full process of content creation—from concept to camera to edit.
