Can you walk us through a successful social media campaign you've managed in the past?
One successful social media campaign I worked on was for a seasonal product launch at a lifestyle brand for the agency I was interning for. Our goal was to build excitement around the limited-edition drop and drive traffic to the website during the two-week launch window. We developed a multi-platform strategy that included teaser content, behind-the-scenes Stories, influencer partnerships, and user-generated content prompts. On Instagram, we started with short-form video teasers showing just glimpses of the new product, paired with a countdown sticker to build anticipation. We also sent early samples to a few micro-influencers whose audiences closely aligned with our brand, and encouraged them to share honest first impressions. Once the product launched, we shifted to content showing the product in use. To drive even more engagement, we ran a giveaway that required users to tag a friend and share the post to their Stories. The result: we saw a 45% increase in Instagram engagement during the campaign period, website traffic spiked by 60% on launch day, and we sold out of the product in less than 10 days. It was a great example of how strategic storytelling, creator collaboration, and community engagement can work together to drive real results.

I would define success for a social media account through a few different mediums: engagement, aesthetics, and authenticity.
Engagement is one of the most important indicators of success—it shows that your audience is not only seeing your content, but interacting with it.
Aesthetics are also essential because a visually cohesive and intentional feed can attract and retain followers.
Authenticity is what builds trust and emotional connection. Especially today, people are drawn to real, relatable content.

The main way I stay current on the latest social trends is by actively engaging with platforms like TikTok and Instagram—I spend time scrolling not just for entertainment, but to observe what’s gaining traction, how creators are innovating, and how audiences are responding. I also follow marketing-focused accounts like @peoplebrandsandthings, which highlight standout brand campaigns and creative strategy, helping me stay in the loop on what's working in the industry and why. This combination helps me stay both inspired and informed.
