How would you talk about the App to encourage people on your campus to sign up? What would you say?
When talking about Home From College, I love using the buzz word "Experience Booster." Students feel more inclined to download apps and browse sites that will give them valuable experience to add to their resumes (or in the case of Berkeley Students), their LinkedIn profiles. As a working student myself, I always mention the money aspect as a secondary plus in the conversation after also mentioning the application writing experience that the site and app also encourages through gig applications.

How would you most effectively share your unique link?
I have connections to great campus networks of students who are constantly asking me about the contracted jobs, quick gigs, and longer term internships that I have received. I always recommend Home From College! I would be able to effectively attract downloads and account creations through social posts on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn and also through sending messages to groupchats, Slack, and Discord groups. Alongside that, I would be more than willing to host campus workshops and events also.

Yes! I have worked with brands like Uber and Microsoft as a brand ambassador with the intention of posting content and hosting campus events to specifically encourage downloads over just clicks by simply scanning a QR code. I've hosted many events and created a range of content from Instagram story posts, reels, TikToks, and LinkedIn posts.
