Share a brand you think is crushing it on social media. What do they do well?
Up to recently, Duolingo was engaging far and wide with users and customers. From my analysis, what they did right was (1) to create and mass-use a mascot to be easily recognised (sometimes more than one mascot to expand the narrative) and (2) to create fictional situations in which this mascot would give their opinion on behalf of the brand. Up until most customers gave up on them for implementing AI in their learning services, I think these two points are what took them to their summit.

Why are you excited about SONNI and what we’re building?
During my studies, I had the opportunity to learn both about the effect of incomplete skincare development on the environment, and on the skin. I myself have a very sensitive skin and have battled for years to find products I can wear daily, this is why I deeply resonate with SONNI's purpose and goals and would like to take part in them.

Can you provide an example of a successful social media campaign you have managed?
I have conducted an internship at the art journalism agency FollowArt in Riga, Latvia, in 2024, where I had the chance to learn how to craft promotional content for art events. My articles and short posts ended up both on the website's blog and on the instagram page of FollowArt, and I had the honour of covering the 2024 Mostra, along with talented emerging artists in Europe. By doing both comparative interviews of artists and galleries and deep research on the art world, I truly had the chance to learn what it's like to market and lead social media campaigns. I am now equipped with the experience and skills to take on a bigger challenge of marketing for Sonni Inc.
