What type of content do you find performs best on TikTok and Instagram?

TikTok is a platform where relatability and authenticity thrive, so videos that don't seem overly planned or staged always do well. Candid, engaging, and humorous content paired with trending sounds or references to current popculture or memes makes for a well-performing TikTok! Instagram, however, seems to prefer more planned, aesthetic content, as the posts that I've seen do well are usually visually appealing posts (Photos, not Reels) that provide new, engaging information. On both platforms, any sort of transparency performs well, as audiences and consumers love and value companies where the CEO or founders engage with content, or products are promoted in an authentic manner.

How do you stay on top of social media trends?

I am an avid social media user, and I treat scrolling as more than a time for relaxation, as for me, it's basically research! To further that, I am able to garner actual social media analytics by utilizing Sprinklr, Google Analytics, and Buffer/Hootsuite to check the data on any posts for other businesses that I make content for.
