Poparazzi
Product Testing Focus Group
What is one creative concept that you think would resonate and excite students about Poparazzi?
Creating a themed party at universities on a certain date and seeing how differently people dress up and set up for that certain theme in each university would be exciting. The similarities and contrasts between each institution would not only reveal certain university values and student values, but it would create competition between schools, which would make Poparazzi even more popular and fun to use, for it would create large scale communities and build school pride for each student.

How do you shop sustainably today?
Knowing how harmful fast fashion and the fast paced nature of trends are, I tend to buy just a few clothes that fit into my aesthetic. I also enjoy wearing vintage pieces—half of my closet is filled with clothes that my mother bought and wore when she was my age. In addition, rather than buying multiple trendy pieces one season, I tend to make different variations of outfits with pieces that are either already in my closet, or purchase items that I really NEED for certain OCCASIONS.

US Campus Team Lead
Explain why you think you are right for recruiting and leading a group of 30+ students at your college
I am a leader and veteran of community service. I have no difficulty in working with people regardless of their age or background as I have been active as an orchestra officer in my high school for two years, where I have developed a strong ability to organize and coordinate social events and fundraisers under a short timeframe whilst managing the IHS social media page to advertise events. During my time in these positions, I have developed strong social skills, both verbally and in writing, by discussing plans concerning future orchestral events by holding monthly officer meetings. As concertmaster and orchestra officer of two years, I have always been leading 50+ people, and was responsible for creating a welcoming community for other orchestra members. I also have experience in engaging younger children and parents with interactive activities at the Ithaca Sciencenter, where I was trained in multiple stations in order to interact and engage with children and adults. Through these positions, I am now adept at communicating with people from all backgrounds on all platforms. As a social butterfly who is confident in making everyone feel welcome and comfortable, I believe that I will be able to successfully lead a group of 60+ students at NYU.
