Are you more comfortable with Cap Cut or Adobe Premiere Pro, and why?

I’m more comfortable with CapCut because I’ve used it consistently for creating and editing short-form content like TikToks and Reels. It’s quick, intuitive, and perfect for fast-paced editing with features like text overlays, beat syncing, and transitions that are especially useful for social media. It also makes it easy to produce high-quality, engaging content efficiently without slowing down the creative process.

What editing techniques do you use to make content stand out on TikTok?

Fast hook cuts (0–2 seconds) to grab attention immediately Jump cuts to remove pauses and keep pacing tight Beat-synced editing so transitions hit on music drops or beats On-screen text overlays to reinforce key points even with sound off Zoom in/zoom out effects for emphasis on reactions or punchlines Speed ramping (speeding up/slowing down clips for energy shifts) Pattern interrupts (sudden angle changes, sound effects, or visual switches) to reset attention Color/lighting consistency for a clean, aesthetic look B-roll layering over voiceover to keep visuals dynamic Strong ending loop so the video naturally replays and boosts retention
