How would you handle a difficult candidate during a hiring call?
I think that maintaining composure and remaining professional are key. As an Orientation Leader for Boston University over the summer, I was in charge of managing 25 kids over zoom and in person. It was important to vocalize instructions in emails, Zoom calls, and in person to ensure that Orientation to run smoothly. I also believe that patience is another important virtue, since from difficultly hearing, to the candidate not answering questions, there are a lot of factors that could make the hiring call challenging.
