How do you hook viewers in the first 3 seconds of a retail video?

I would create engaging retail content by showing products in real, relatable moments instead of just highlighting them. For example, I could film “day-in-my-life” clips featuring the products naturally, or make short tutorials, style tips, or GRWM moments that show how the products fit into everyday routines. I’d also use trends, music, and interactive elements like polls or challenges to make the content fun and shareable. My goal would be to make the products feel approachable, aspirational, and something my audience wants to engage with, not just watch.

How would you create engaging retail content ?

I engage my online audience by creating content that feels real, relatable, and interactive. I like to share moments from my everyday life—whether it’s a study session, dorm vibes, or fun challenges—so people feel like they can relate to me. I also use interactive tools like polls, “this or that” questions, and Q&As to get my followers involved and spark conversation. My goal is to make my content feel like a two-way connection, where people not only watch but want to comment, share, and participate.
