If you were tasked with driving 150 BeReal app downloads, what creative strategies would you use to achieve this goal?

To drive 150 BeReal app downloads, I’d focus on combining niche New York City references with app takeovers.

1. Micro-Influencer Takeovers: I’d collaborate with niche micro-influencers—especially college students or city-based creators with under 10K followers who have high engagement and trust. They’d do “BeReal Takeovers,” where they post their actual BeReal for the day and share why they use the app, along with a download link or QR code. This helps keep the promotion authentic, not ad-like, and taps directly into BeReal’s core Gen Z audience.

2. IRL Integration: I’d create small notes/symbols and place them on poles, fences, or walls all over the city to be discovers almost like a scavenger hunt. Users can find these icons and take their BeReal with these images as their proof of finding it and post it using a hashtag like #ItsReal!. Something interactive and genuine.
