What's one way to engage a consumer base with the brand's social media at an in-person event?

As a marketing major at UT Austin, I strive to create appealing and authentic content that stands out. I believe that my strong storytelling skills and creative eye will enable me to tell a compelling story about SxSW through content while also delving deeply into its diverse consumer base. Content Strategy: By utilizing Instagram and TikTok at Bellwether Culture's South x Southwest event, I will be able to engage SxSW attendees with high-quality content. Here's how it's done: 1. Instagram Stories: > create engaging social media stories, such as interactive quizzes or polls, to keep followers interested and engaged in the lead up to the festival. 2. Instagram Live: > "Backstage Access" is my idea of an exclusive live stream offering behind-the-scenes content, such as Q&As with artists, only available through SXSW social media channels. > I can also reduce FOMO for those who couldn't attend the festival by live streaming events, panels, and performances. 3. Instagram Reels & TikTok: the key is to create content that is visually engaging, fun, and relevant to the festival and its audience. These outlets are perfect for creating short and entertaining videos. I am already experienced with filters, music, and editing tools to create content that stands out. > Sneak peek into preparations for the festival, including setup, rehearsals, and more. > Time-lapse videos showing festival's setup and evolution, to give viewers a unique perspective on the festival. > Create short, fun, and engaging introductions highlighting new artists and performers that will be appearing at the festival. > By creating dance challenges based on popular songs performed at the festival, I can encourage followers to participate and share their own videos. > Last but not least, I can share clips of festival highlights to give followers a taste of what they can expect.
