The Vita Coco Company

How would you share Vita Coco on your campus and on social each month? Please include: The types of content you’d create (TikTok, Reels, Stories, etc.) Where you’d activate on campus (teams, Greek life, clubs, events)

My largest following is on TikTok, and I make weekly daily vlogs, cooking content, coffee chats, etc., on this platform. So, for Vita Coco, I would feature my drink in my day in the life videos, healthy drinks/food I purchased that week, supplying my roommate's grocery hauls with it, and why I love it so much. I would also post on my personal Instagram story and include the brand in hiking pictures, dinner parties, tailgates, etc. I am very involved on CU Boulder's campus, as I am a member of the Delta Gamma sorority (I hold a position on the executive team) and I am part of The Advertising Club, the National Student Advertising Competition program, Women in Business, Nutrition Buffs, and the Wellness Club. I have been responsible for all programmatic events for my sorority, where I've partnered with brands and hosted events like yoga in our courtyard, valentines day cookie making, pumpkin carving contest, clothing pop ups, coffee hikes, Founder's Day, etc. I would plan to feature Vita Coco at more of these events, allowing my sorority sisters to try the brand, share it with their friends, feel refreshed, and then include it in their next grocery haul. As a senior, my younger sorority sisters look up to me and follow me on my TikTok, so I have a good feeling they'd be excited to try a brand I am promoting. When it comes to all of the clubs I am involved in, I'd plan to bring Vita Coco to the weekly meetings. For my "advertising specific" clubs, we are constantly analyzing brands and looking at recent campaigns and activations. Introducing Vita Coco to these clubs would support our learning and be a fun way for students to see brand activations in real life.

What’s your favorite Vita Coco product from our line, and how do you currently incorporate it into your routine?

My favorite, and go-to product in the Vita Coco line is straight and simple: The Original Coconut Water. I buy a large carton each week, and prefer to drink a glass after a morning workout or after I've had my breakfast in the morning. I instantly feel refreshed and like I've started my day on the right foot. I've incorporated Vita Coco into my vacation routine (when I've been on a sunny beach) but my college life is more realistic and consistent, so I've enjoyed including it in my routine here.

How would you engage an audience to try Barebells products?

My main goal for audience engagement would be to educate people on the importance of protein in their diet. More importantly, how and why protein can be enjoyed and taste good. Ditch the protein shakes and opt for a delicious chocolate bar! My "Day in the Life" videos (in college) have connected with a wide range of audiences, and I first gained attention from my grocery haul videos. Whether it was featuring Barebells in my hauls, taste testing their flavors, or showing how I fuel myself during class or after a workout, I'd engage my audience in a way that was natural and authentic to me.
