what's a creative way you would lead sampling efforts both on and off campus?
On campus I’d place removable, on-brand mirror decals in campus bathrooms or dorm common areas with minimal text and strong visuals. QR codes could lead to a digital tutorial It feels subtle, design-driven, and unexpected. Off campus, I’d set up aesthetically styled flat-lay stations in local boutiques or cafés where samples are displayed like a photoshoot. The presentation encourages people to take photos and share, letting the design do the marketing.

How would you engage your audience to promote ColourPop products?
I would engage the audience by leaning into what ColourPop already does best by fun, trends, and community through strong, cohesive visuals. I’d design bold, eye-catching content like swipeable posts, shade guides, and quick tutorial graphics that make products easy to understand in real-life use. Using interactive elements like polls, questions, and reposting customer content would help the audience feel involved rather than sold to. I’d also use consistent color, layout, and typography across trend-based and limited launches to create excitement while keeping the brand playful, approachable, and recognizable.

what do you love about colourpop?
The brand feels fun, colorful, and creative, and the products still work really well. They make it easy to try new looks without spending a ton of money, and I like how often they release new shades and collections that actually feel on trend. It’s one of those brands that makes makeup feel exciting instead of intimidating.
