I worked with a team in order to start a business, Seascape totes, that sells tote bags with art from high school artists and donates a portion of the profits to the Surfrider Foundation for ocean conservation. I was able to effectively market our product on an Instagram account with over 500 followers, sell at events in the community such as farmers markets, and have a net profit of over $2,500 in 3 months. I was so excited to create a business that makes a positive difference on the environment which I am so passionate about.
