What's a non-work-related interest or skill that has helped you Professionally?
My interest in urban street art has surprisingly influenced my professional approach, especially in marketing and brand development. Street art’s emphasis on bold visuals, cultural relevance, and authentic storytelling has taught me the importance of creating messages that resonate deeply and stand out. This perspective helps me approach campaigns with a more creative and inclusive mindset, aiming to make brand messaging as compelling and accessible as street art’s ability to speak to diverse audiences.

What's Your favorite project you've worked on and why? (ex. what were the steps involved? Did you collaborate with others? What roadblocks did you run into and how did you solve them?)
One of my favorite projects was my recent photography project titled Soles Tell Stories, which aimed to capture the diversity and daily experiences of people on campus by photographing their shoes. I started by planning the project’s theme and visual style, then took photos of various shoes—those of athletes, students, and others in different roles—using footwear as a symbol of individual stories. I collaborated with peers for feedback and insights, and encountered a roadblock in capturing images that conveyed depth and meaning. To solve this, I adjusted my approach by engaging subjects in conversations about their shoes, allowing me to capture images with more context and emotion. The project was both a creative exploration and a chance to share unique, relatable stories through photography.

How do you ensure consistency in brand messaging AND VISUALS across various creative assets?
To ensure consistency in brand messaging and visuals for SmartyPants Vitamins, I would focus on creating a cohesive brand style guide that defines key elements like tone of voice, color palette, typography, and visual standards. This guide would serve as a reference across all creative assets, helping maintain a playful yet trustworthy tone and vibrant design, ensuring every piece aligns with the brand's mission of making health accessible and fun. Additionally, by implementing regular cross-functional reviews with both creative and marketing teams, I would ensure that messaging stays aligned with brand values and resonates consistently across campaigns, packaging, social media, and other consumer touchpoints.
